Healthy Habits for a Healthy Life
You might have heard this before, but it’s important to live a healthy lifestyle in order to enjoy life at its fullest and to prevent any diseases or health conditions that can occur in the future. The good news is, living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be too difficult when you make simple changes in your everyday habits. If you want to be healthier without much effort, here are three healthy habits you can adopt and maintain throughout your life.
Write your goals down
My long term goal is to live life to the fullest and be able to maintain my health. I want to eat whole foods that nourish me, exercise at least three times per week, and take care of myself by getting enough sleep, limiting stress, and practicing self-care.
I plan on doing this by starting with healthy habits that are achievable and sustainable over time. One habit that I am going to start with is cooking two nights of dinner each week. That way we'll have leftovers for lunch or quick dinners later in the week, which will help us save money and also decrease our dependence on processed foods.
* Start small changes:
It's not easy to make big changes in our lives. Most of the time, we need to start small and take it one day at a time. Remember that change takes time, so don't expect to be perfect from day one.
1) Drink lots of water- this is the most important thing you can do for your health! It will keep you feeling full, help you stay hydrated, and curb hunger cravings.
*Take care of yourself
It's easy to feel overwhelmed by all the things you need to do, but start with these five habits and see how they can make your life easier. * Drink lots of water - Drinking enough water is important because it helps keep your skin healthy, reduces hunger cravings, and keeps your whole body functioning better. It also helps prevent constipation which is another common problem. * Stay active - When was the last time you got off the couch?
*Do something every day
- Drink at least 8 glasses of water
- Eat at least 3 meals per day
- Get 7 hours of sleep every night
- Exercise three times a week

* Keep in touch with friends and family
It's so easy to get wrapped up in your own life and forget about the people who care about you. That is why it's important to keep in touch with friends and family on a regular basis. With social media, email, Skype, and other forms of communication it has never been easier to stay in touch with those who matter most.
